The Myers Briggs Type Index (MBTI)
The Myers Briggs Type Index (MBTI) is a personality test. Based on answers to a set of questions, a personality test aims to describe aspects of a person's character that remain stable throughout that person's lifetime. No personality test is perfect because every person is unique; however, thinking about what kind of person you are might help you think about how you live your life and what kind of college, major, career, and activitires you would like to pursue. Click below to download a file containing the a short version of the Myers Briggs test. When you complete this test, you will get a four letter code. Once you have your code, read a short passage (which cna be found under the heading "WEEK 1") that is meant to describe the kind of person you are. If this "type profile" doesn't match your personality, try reading a different type -- one that is close to the first type you guessed. Once you find the profile that fits you best, follow the links under the "WEEK 2" to read lists of careers and majors that fit your type.
